★ FEATURED GAME

WEEK 3 • 2026 SEASON • Baltimore vs Dallas

Baltimore Ravens Vs. Dallas Cowboys

Using 2025 and 2026 Regular Season data, analysis shows Baltimore having some statistical edges over Dallas.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys
Baltimore and Dallas arrive in Rio at 1–1, but by different routes. The Ravens opened with a 41–23 win over Indianapolis, then lost 24–17 to New Orleans. The Cowboys lost 28–20 to the Giants before responding with a 37–20 win over Washington. Sunday’s winner moves to 2–1; the loser falls to 1–2.

Baltimore’s data: Across the 2025 regular season, the Ravens scored 424 points (24.9 per game) and allowed 398 (23.4 per game). Their +26 point differential shows a capable team, but the run chart below also shows considerable swings from game to game.

Dallas’s data: The Cowboys scored more—471 points (27.7 per game)—but allowed 511 (30.1 per game) in 2025. Their -40 point differential reflects the challenge: Dallas can score, yet too often needs to win a high-scoring contest.

The prediction: A+POINTS favors Baltimore, 28.9–25.8, a projected margin of just 3.1 points. That is a lean, not a comfortable cushion. Baltimore receiver Zay Flowers missed Wednesday’s practice, while Dallas is monitoring injuries in its secondary.

The tidbit: Dallas is the designated home team, but this is no ordinary Cowboys home game. It will be the NFL’s first regular-season game in Rio de Janeiro, with a 5:25 p.m. local kickoff at Maracanã.

Rio tidbit: Maracanã can hold roughly 79,000, while Melbourne’s NFL debut drew just over 100,000.

WEEK 2: 2026 SEASON

MEANFootball's Proprietary Model: Posted Wednesday

Using 2025 Regular Season data, analysis shows Buffalo having some statistical edges over Detroit. Also, Buffalo's experience in the 2025 playoffs and the intensity of playing in their new stadium might have "intangible" but important elements.

Detroit's swagger and desire to always prove themselves are key aspects of their persona. Coach Dan Campbell's competitive spirit is ever present. Coming off of a tight game last week, in Detroit, with the New Orleans Saints needs to be put aside. The Bills are an elite, consistent team and formidable opponent.

A+ POINTS™

Evidence-First NFL Predictions

This is the heart of every MEANFootball™ forecast.

Each NFL matchup is ranked by projected separation, not simply by which team is expected to win. Games with the largest projected differences rise to the top, helping you quickly identify where our statistical model sees the greatest advantage.

Confidence Levels

🟢 Strong — Projected separation above the 16.3% threshold. These are the games where the model has its highest confidence.

🟡 Moderate — Meaningful projected advantage, but below the Strong threshold. Worth watching as additional information becomes available.

🔴 Close (50–50) — Very small projected separation. These games are essentially statistical toss-ups where one play, turnover, injury, or coaching decision can determine the outcome.

Built on Evidence

Every percentage shown here is generated from historical scoring performance using a transparent, repeatable statistical process. Rankings are updated throughout the week as injury reports, roster changes, and other verified information become available.

Our objective isn't to predict every game perfectly.

Our objective is to identify where the greatest statistical separation exists and present those results in a simple, understandable format.

Evidence first. Opinion second.
